Riding a Wave of Eastern European Resources
Have you ever had a genealogy wave experience?
The nearest thing I can liken it to is car shopping. Honda Accords are everywhere, but you don’t really notice them on the road until you decide you’re in the market for one…then you see them everywhere! Same thing happens in genealogy. Eastern European genealogy has been on my mind alot lately. Let the wave begin:
Jane E. Wilcox of Forget Me Not Ancestry shared a link on her personal Facebook for new Czech records.

Judy Russell of The Legal Genealogist had a great post on German Genealogy Group

Lisa, who most know as Smallest Leaf or through her site 100 Years in America recently published a Legacy QuickGuide(TM) on Croatian Genealogy

And for me, I’ll be tracking the entire selection of German based sessions at the New York State Family History Conference later this week.

This subgroup of session will be taught by our own Joseph Lieby, currently President of Palatines to America German Genealogy Society and a member of our local Orange County Genealogy Society.
I hope these links prove as helpful to you as they have been for me. If you know of other great Eastern European resources please share!
